'Escape'

‘Escape’ depicts a woman within an emotional, abstract space. There are elements of transition within the darkness and light, shadows of the past and unknown possibilities of the future. The aim is to present a sense of the hopes and fears we may feel surrounding change, the unknown, or a sense of the need to escape, which may be experienced due to varying circumstances. The work is intentionally left open to individual interpretation so that viewers may relate to it through empathy and personal experience.
